"Tokyo rail network designed by Physarum plasmodium" A.K.A. The emergence of the We-Agent

I love it. Aren't slime moulds just the most awesome moulds around?

The cover for the forthcoming APG anthology will feature a picture of a slime mold growing on a glass window. We liked it as a metaphor for the group as collaborative entity and that it seemed to dove-tail with some of the things we were writing about that. Without getting into the details, we thought about the "I is an other" of Rimbaud and ended up with "We is an agent."

I'd like to think that when you watch this, you are seeing the various lone I-others all being slime molded together into the We-agent.

APG 4ever, yo!
